History:

Recognizing the need for coordinated education and training for safety and business professionals, the Waukesha Area Safety Council (WASC) was founded in 2002.  Since then, the council has grown in size and attendance on a regular basis, boasting 200+ member companies.  We have no formal annual membership fee and hold our monthly in-person meetings costs down to $30 per attendee, ($25 if paid in advance) which includes lunch. While attendance is encouraged at ALL of our meetings, we understand that schedules can be challenging and invite our members to simply attend any meeting that is of interest.  Members are also welcome to bring guests or clients. While pre-registration is encouraged to ensure adequate presentation materials and seating are available, walk-ins are welcome. Please visit our Program Schedule page for more information.

Mission

To be a resourceful provider of professional services, training and education discussion in the field of occupational safety and health, while contributing to the community in both service and safety.

To further the professional development of safety practitioners by promoting safety in the workplace and community.
